NCD Police have been told to come up with strategies on awareness in schools on the safety of students with the growing concern on reports of kidnappings in the Nation’s Capital.
Deputy Police Commissioner for Operations Jim Andrews stressed the need to have awareness’s in schools when asked about the reports of school students been targeted as prime targets of this incidents.
He has appealed to communities, schools and the police to work together in curbing these incidents.
Mr Andrews said police must work together with communities to identify hot spots of this areas were this is common and work together to stop this incidents.
"Its a two way thing in addressing law and order problems, the community must support police as it is impossible for police alone to work", he said.
