Heading into match two of round two, fans in Morobe province will have feast of football when the Kumul Petroleum National Soccer League hosts four matches at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium on Saturday.
In the opening match, FC Morobe Wawens will play host to vastly improved Laiwaden FC followed by one of the form team in the competition Morobe United FC taking on Snax Lahi FC.
Morobe United after their last weekend’s nil-all draw against Toti City FC, see them enter the match posing a credible threat to the table leaders.
Morobe Wawens with loss against Besta last weekend are looking to tamed the visitors at home and bring back some confidence to their fans while Laiwaden coach Bob Morris after a draw last weekend, will be looking to polish his troops to take them through the home team.
The third match should be an interesting one between he youngsters from PNGFA Academy and Markham FC. With the win last weekend against FC Morobe Wawens, Besta are looking to keep that momentum alive and secure another win to move up the table to third placing.
The main game at 3pm, should be a thriller when defending champion Toti City FC take on the youngsters Tusbab Stallions FC. It will be a different story when the reigning champions face-off with Stallions in front of a patriotic Morobe crowd.
Toti City coach Peter Gunemba will be counting onhis son Raymond Gunemba and Nigel Dabinyaba to lead the charge. As for Stallions chances, it will depend on how skipper Max Sengum leads a determined team with the assistant of Ricky Wadunah, Roland Conn, and Barthy Kerobin, who must win this game.
