HOME AND CAR EXPO 2019 A SUCCESS

“Our real estate shows have grown year after year since the first one in 2017. Properties and vehicles are both large investments that often go hand in hand,so the Home and Car Expo makes sense,”

The Home & Car Expo 2019 was predicted by its organizers to be one of the year’s biggest events in Papua New Guinea. Having done shows in the past, they reckon that you will say it’s unlike anything you’ve seen.

It’s was held at the Sir John Guise Stadium on Friday June 21 and Saturday 22 June 2019. Whether you want to buy your first home, shop for a new car, or look for that perfect plot of land, this show did have something for all who attended.

There were prizes, car test drives, seminars led by industry experts, and much more, as an added bonus the event was completely free.

The list of companies that attended the expo are all who’s who of Papua New Guinea’s business sector. Bank of South Pacific, Pacific Palms Property, Industrialized Business Systems, Kina Bank, Airways Residences and Trans Pacific Assurance.Additionally, Red Sea Housing, Nambawan Super Limited, Shoreline Security,Rhodes, PNG Forest Products, Century 21 and EDAI Town also participated along with Westpac, Atlas Steel, Champion Engineering and Pure Water.

At the arena outside, Ela Motors took center stage and showcased the new range of RAV-4 and XXX, and 2-Fast Motors, BSP, TPAL and Shoreline were featured at the Motor Show as well which made it an expo you definitely wouldn’t have missed.

Tom Snelling, General Manager of Hausples and Marketmeri.com, noted his excitement about the inclusion of vehicles for the first time.

“Our real estate shows have grown year after year since the first one in 2017. Properties and vehicles are both large investments that often go hand in hand,so the Home and Car Expo makes sense,” he said.

There were managed exhibits, bouncy castles, food stalls and refreshments available over the two days. The car show also had a “Show and Shine” area where special vehicles, including 4WD’s, super cars and vintage vehicles were on display.

And,of course, the real estate section hosted tons of agents, developers, dealers and related companies at a central location.

There were also free seminars about the real estate industry in the foyer of the stadium. Experts weighed in on a range of topics such as how to buy your first home, legal aspects of buying, building techniques, and much more while everything was streamed live across the arena.

More than 500 people passed through the gates during the two days of the expo and it was extremely successful according to the organizers Marketmeri.com and HausPles.
