"2019 Milne Bay Day celebration aims to support initiatives to assist people in Milne Bay in need."

The Milne Bay Community Association (MBCA) and the University of Papua New Guinea Milne Bay Students Union (UPNG MBSU) wish to inform the General Milne Bay Community and friends that the official venue for the 2019 Milne Bay Day Celebrations is now Gordon Secondary School and not the Sir John Guise Stadium.

This was due to the National Sports Trustee Ltd (who manage the Sir John Guise Stadium) decision to move all provincial days to the Rita Flyn Car park after the disruption caused by the recent East Sepik Day.

Gordons Secondary was therefore the only available venue. The program will begin at 9:30am and finish at 3pm.

"Our confirmed guests will include the Honourable District Members including the likes of Hon Charles Abel –Member for Alotau Open; Hon Isi Henry Leonard - Member for Samarai-Murua and the Acting Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea and member for Esa’ala Open, Hon Steven Davis."
