Andrews called on the landowners to refrain, follow due process, and deal with the matter of their unpaid royalties with the government.

“It’s not a threat, it’s a warning for the people to refrain from damaging properties and follow normal chain of command with government and resource developers to sort the issue out”, he said.

He said police are closely monitoring the situation in hides adding that landowners must take ownership and resort to a round table discussion.
