MUSIC ARTIST DPJ APOLOGIZES TO FANS AND PUBLIC

“What I posted was my personal view, it was not even on my page, as a citizen of this country I am entitled to my views and opinions, I just made a personal opinion that I posted but unfortunately it went out."

A PNG music artist DPJ has apologized to fans and the general public following a facebook post earlier this week.

DPJ said that his recent personal view updated on facebook about the activities of the Honorable Member for Madang Bryan Kramer was blown out of proportion by fans and the general public that resulted in screen shots of his post going viral on social media.

“What I posted was my personal view, it was not even on my page, as a citizen of this country I am entitled to my views and opinions, I just made a personal opinion that I  posted but unfortunately it went out,"he stressed.

“I would like to apologies to my fans and the general public about my recent post that went viral on social media, I apologize if I hurt or discouraged anyone.”

“I sincerely apologize again and ask for forgiveness from my fans and the general public”, said DPJ.

He goes on saying as an artist he has learnt from this that he is not in a position where he can make any decisions when it comes to political views like what transpired few days ago.

He said though he feels that his freedom of speech and expression has been suppressed especially in a democratic country like PNG where every citizen is entitled to his or her own opinion, being an artist he still owes it to his fans to apologize publicly.
