Over 73, 000 grade 10 students through-out the country sat for their National Written Expression Exams today.
One of the schools in NCD,Gordons Secondary School saw 378 grade 10 students successfully sit the first set of exams.
Gordons Secondary School Deputy Principle Academic Paul Kambu is confident that this year’s batch will make it into the top 20 secondary schools to score high marks in this year’s exams as the others did in previous exams.
“Last year we had a total of 380students who sat the written expression exams and a total of 350 students made it through to grade 11 in the final exams”, Kambu said.
Gordons Secondary School has a total 7 grade 10 classes and continues to strive for excellence through student results.
Mr. Kambu said that teachers and students have been preparing and are ready to do well in this year’s final national exams.
