The University of Papua New Guinea Graduation list for 2020 will be made known next month following a UPNG council meeting which will take place on the 29th August.
Professor Frank Griffin said, due to the pandemic, the graduation did not happened in April as usual, however Diploma and Degree documents will be conferred to students.
He said the council meeting will approve and endorse the list before it is made available to the public.
“Once the list is endorsed and approved, we will then be able to prepare the paper work and have a conferring ceremony without the students”
“This will formalise their graduation from the University of Papua New Guinea upon completion of their studies as of last year”
Professor Griffin said all the respective schools have submitted their list of students who are eligible for graduation and the number of students will be around the same figure as last year which was over 1000 students.
It is understood that the University will disseminate degree/diploma documents to respective students once the list is approved.
