Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said its time Canada expanded and grow the Canada-Pacific relationship.
Prime Minister Trudeau said this was the main discussion he had during conversations held with different leaders of the APEC countries.
He stressed this during his closing remarks and a rap up of the visit to Papua New Guinea for the 2018 APEC meet.
PM Trudeau thanked the host country PNG, describing the meet as a productive visit and a chance for Canada and its partners to work together to improve lives of the people they represented.
He said Canada is well positioned to create new opportunities to advance trade in Asia and the Pacific region. However, he said there where needs to diversify were to trade and who to trade with.
